Cut back on expenses before you leave
Do you really need that $5 cup of Starbucks coffee every morning? Cutting out daily unnecessary expenses will help you save money for your trip. Eating home cooked meals instead of eating out can also go a long way in helping you save.

“Engaging with locals for three days is a fuller experience than staying for two weeks,” she said.
Staying with locals not only gives you a richer experience in the country you’re visiting, but also allows you to save money as many locals are willing to let you stay in their home for free.
Use public transportation
Taking buses, subways, and other public transportation methods will come in handy in saving you money. Skip the taxis and jump on a bus – not only will you save money, but you will get to live a more local experience.
Don’t pay bank fees
Paying $3 or $5 with every purchase or ATM withdrawal you make can add up. Opt for a no-fee credit and ATM card. Capital One’s Venture card is a no-fee credit card and Charles Schwab will never charge an ATM fee and will actually reimburse you for any fees other banks charge.

English teachers are always in high demand around the world and many countries offer good pay, flexible hours, and even work visas.
Get a working holiday visa
Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Norway, and many other countries offer people under the age of 30 working holiday visas that allow you to work for one or two years in that country. Seasonal, temporary, and even office jobs can be found with this option.
Get creative along the way
It is definitely important to do some planning and saving before you quit your job to travel, but it is also essential that you just let yourself go and travel.
